HDLS  12th biennial Conference

 

The Biennial High Desert Linguistics Society (HDLS) Conference is organized by the linguistics graduate students of the University of New Mexico. It traditionally features papers from cognitive, functional, and typological approaches to all the core areas of linguistic analysis (phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics) as well as language change, language variation, sociolinguistics, bilingualism, applied linguistics, Native American languages, languages of the Southwest, language revitalization and maintenance, signed languages, and gesture research.

 

This year's 12th biennial conference will take place at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico, from November 12th-14th, 2016.
